Our Founding Team

CEO & People & Culture Lead
Jay Barrett
Jay is one of our co-founders and heads up our People & Culture division, supporting organizations to foster high performing team environments, and to refine and deliver upon their organizational mission.

Jay was previously the Vice President of Global People Operations at Stella McCartney, has worked with the Kering group brands including Alexander McQueen & Christopher Kane, and the LVMH & Pernod Ricard groups.
​
Most recently Jay has been working with non-profit and for-profit clients through his consultancy Culture Canopy - a certified LGBT Business Enterprise - supporting organizations to create healthy and progressive internal environments.
​
Jay lives in New York with his partner, rescue companion dog, (too) many plants and helps to coordinate the care of a local colony of feral cats.

COO & Pay & Total Rewards Lead
Richard Gathercole
Richard leads our Payroll and Total Rewards division and is one of our co-founders.

Richard gained many years of experience in pay & reward working for international luxury fashion brands and groups.
More recently, he has his own consulting company, Reward Guru, providing advice on various benefits and compensation packages, and managing payrolls for both local and international businesses.
​
Richard along with his husband and their two chihuahuas recently relocated from the UK to Spanish countryside. Visitors and locals alike enjoy coming to sample his vegan paella and homemade limoncello!

CFO & Finance Lead
Wade Strange
Overseeing our Finance division is Wade, who is also one of our co-founders.
Wade has extensive finance experience from his time working with the Kering group brands, and notably as the Chief Financial Officer for Stella McCartney’s operations across the America’s regions.
Most recently Wade has been consulting for various clients across different sectors, including animal rights, diet change and social equity non-profit organizations.
Wade is passionate about providing right-sized solutions for organizations to facilitate their ability to operate effectively, while equipping them for future growth.
Wade lives in New York and in addition to his role with PEPR, supports various creatives across the media and entertainment industries through his recording studio.

People & Culture
Lis Delorme
Lis brings over 10 years of HR experience from a diverse range of experiences including the Kering & LVMH groups.
Most recently Lis has been working alongside Jay at Culture Canopy, supporting a range of organizations with people related projects and topics.
Lis was previously the Global Head of People Projects and Compensation at Stella McCartney, and is experienced in global people operations, organizational design, talent processes, compensation and people budgets. Lis has also been instrumental in developing culture, engagement and inclusion initiatives to foster healthy and progressive work environments.
After living in London and Paris, Lis has returned to her roots in the south of France, where she now lives with her partner, their 2-year-old son, and her three cats - embracing the tranquility and beauty of the countryside. In addition to her client work, Lis also co-manages her family winery.

People & Culture
Jessica Quelennec
With a passion for helping others tap into their full potential, and to support organizations to drive meaningful change, Jessica has led strategic people initiatives across talent & leadership development, organizational design and corporate social responsibility.
With multi-sector and international experience, Jessica previously worked for SSENSE in Canada, Sephora & Al-Futtaim in the Middle East, and the Kering group brands in the UK.
As the founder of Osei Collective and currently based in Ghana, Jessica is dedicated to empowering local individuals who have disabilities, to thrive within their community and gain financial independence by delivering capacity building initiatives & partnerships.

Pay & Rewards
Jennie
Jennie has a background in financial and banking services, gained from her time working in Jersey, Channel Islands.
More recently Jennie has been working with Richard, managing client payrolls and benefits across the UK, US and EMEA.

Jennie recently moved back to the UK and lives by the coast. Jennie and her husband love to spend their spare time searching for vintage items and antiques to add to their even growing collection.

Finance & Operations
Debby
Debby is an experienced book keeper working with small organizations in the UK to help run their back office activities and oversee administrative processes.

Debby lives in East Anglia in the UK. Debby and her husband love to spend their time by the coast and taking care of their grandchildren.
Debby takes care of 4 dogs, 3 horses and frequently rescues wild birds in need.

Leila Saad
Leila is the founder and CEO of Catalyst Lane, and a strategic planning partner of PEPR’s. At Catalyst Lane, Leila helps nonprofits reset strategy, optimize operations, and adapt to market and environmental change.
Prior to founding Catalyst Lane, Leila was the CEO of Common Impact, which empowers nonprofits with free expertise and resources from tech, finance, and other professionals at Fortune 500 companies. Leila was previously Executive Director of PILnet, a global legal nonprofit promoting the power of pro bono.
Leila has 20+ years experience in the nonprofit sector, focused on organizational development and strategy in public interest law, social justice, and human rights contexts.
Leila lives outside NYC with her three daughters and lazy black cat, Caesar.

Inclusion, Culture & Communications
Jonathan Saw
Jonathan focuses on enhancing and renewing the performance environment for organizations. From talent and culture to process improvement and ways of working, Jonathan takes a data-driven approach to helping organizations create the best environment for their growth and to achieve their desired impact.
Jonathan has held leadership roles in diversity, equity and inclusion, culture and engagement, with companies as varied as Pernod Ricard, Tiffany & Co., Johnson & Johnson and Bank of America. Jonathan tailors approaches and programming to the specific needs of each organization he works with.
With an extensive background in internal communications, external communications and public affairs, Jonathan also puts communications at the center of his culture and performance enhancing capabilities - using strategic communications as a foundational lever for organizational change.
Jonathan lives in New York with his husband. When not being food tourists, they and their friends create dioramas of 300+ plastic flamingos at their house on Fire Island.

AI, Data Governance & Analytics
Brandan Keaveny, Ed.D, CIPM
Dr. Brandan Keaveny is the principal consultant & founder of Data Ethics, a certified LGBTE, where he specializes in professional consulting services in the areas of artificial intelligence ethics, data governance, analytics, and privacy.
​
Dr. Keaveny currently serves as an adjunct professor in AI Ethics for the Department of Software Engineering at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Keaveny has over 25 years of experience working in data management, protection and privacy, and the field of education.
​
Previously, Dr. Keaveny served in the roles of school district administrator, college professor, and teacher of students with special needs, where Dr. Keaveny built teams of professionals in analytics and data governance to drive the strategic vision of the districts he served. Dr. Keaveny earned his Doctorate from the University of Rochester and has earned the ANSI-accredited designation of Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
