the launch of a new
high-impact organization
When we connected with a promising new organization aiming to drive institutional change by influencing policies that affect animals used for food, we knew that launching a new US 501(c)(3) and building the foundations to enable program delivery would take time.
So we stepped in to accelerate their launch. While the founder drove the vision, we supported the team to articulate it. While the team focused on program development, we built budgets, financial projections, and defined back-office processes. While the team built relationships with key partners, we developed recruiting and onboarding systems. And while the team aggressively fundraised, we sourced marketing, tech, and legal partners for them.
In a short window, the organization was fully functional and ready to make a serious positive impact.

Over 18 months, we partnered with an advocacy team to bring their founder’s vision to life: cultivating a healthy, high-performing workplace to drive meaningful outcomes for animals.
Our work together included designing recruitment processes to attract top talent, developing intentional action plans to shape a values-aligned culture, and delivering team sessions that foster trust, psychological safety, and collaboration. We also facilitated workshops to align the team around their mission, vision, and values - ensuring everyone was rowing in the same direction.
A full organizational structure review helped clarify roles and responsibilities, redistribute workload, and identify opportunities for strategic outsourcing - freeing the team from admin-heavy tasks and allowing them to focus on what matters most.
Today, the organization is guided by a clear and compelling vision, supported by an engaged and aligned team, and better equipped to deliver outcomes for animals.
ADVANCING TEAM REWARDS & IMPLEMENTING STRATEGIC FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT
To reach its potential as it grew and expanded, it was crucial for this advocacy organization to attract, retain, develop, and reward top talent that could deliver on its ambitious mission.
Since the team lacked the time and resources, we supported them to develop their performance management process and values-and-behaviors frameworks to facilitate quality feedback and career growth conversations. We also supported onboarding and recruiting tools and built out a comprehensive benefits offering.
In parallel, we developed bespoke financial tools to project and analyze cash flow, providing long-term visibility and allowing for more informed strategic decision-making and planning.
The result is more transparent and streamlined organizational processes, stronger solutions and financial visibility for improved decision-making, and a supportive working environment that attracts and retains top talent — all ensuring continuity and excellence in delivering the organization’s strategic plan.
